Equal Rights Code (3 Hours CE)
The National Association of Realtors® requires each of its members to attend a Code of Ethics class every four years. The purpose of this online CE course, we will focus on how to protect yourself from liability and help eliminate discrimination in the housing industry by becoming educated on the laws that regulate discrimination and by making an informed choice to work within the boundaries set by these laws. Discrimination in the housing industry can be blatantly obvious and deliberate or subtle and genuinely unintentional. Regardless of the intent, judgments are handed down every day against discriminatory housing practices. Breaching fair housing laws can result in costly fines, suspended licenses, and even revoked licenses.
